A Beautiful Day for Trailwork

Two days into spring and the weather was great for a little pulaski work on the Karkaghne.  Seven OTA members put off hiking for a day to help out with the trail, and we thank them for their hard work.  They built a fabulous section of trail along the headwaters of the Big River, inching ever closer to the connection with the Trace Creek section.

Voila!

Dave can sure chisel out a hillside

Class B sawyer Peggy hams it up with Margo (thanks for the lemonade, Margo!)

This was Frank's first day on the Karkaghne and did a tremendous job. Kudos, Frank.

Gwen LOVES her council rake, and is extraordinary at manicuring the tread.
