On December 12th in 2002 the Ozark Trail Association was chartered and charged with the mission to build, maintain, preserve, promote, and protect the rugged natural beauty of the Ozark Trail. This year we celebrate our 15th anniversary.

On Dec 2nd we held a celebration dinner at the Trout Lodge in Potosi including day full of events beginning with some donated trail work for the YMCA and ending with a dinner and live entertainment. A presentation was given with a recap of the last 15 years of accomplishments, all the current efforts underway, and a look at what the future might look like. In addition, we recognized our 2017 Volunteer of the Year and three others. Congratulations to Terry Hawn as Volunteer of the Year and to Rod Brown, Scott Hayden, and Ken Kurtz for their outstanding achievements this year.

It was a great day enjoyed by all and what a special way to recognize 15 years of accomplishments with our OTA family.
