Map Artwork
The map of the Ozark Trail has been generated in several different formats, sizes, and color modes.
Sizes
The 2” maps are designed to print in a single column of print. These maps contain the least amount of information, but should contain enough overview for the reader to identify the basic trail shape and area of the state.
The 4” maps are designed to span two columns of print and contain a few more roads and cities. This is a good map size for feature articles.
The largest map can be scaled from anywhere to 6” to 12” and still retain a sharp, crisp look. This map is best suited for video work, magazines, and brochures.
Formats & Modes
All maps have been generated in color, both for cmyk and rgb output. The 2” and 4” maps have also ben generated in greyscale. Each size/mode combination has been stored as an EPS file. Depending on the color mode, each map combination has been also stored as a TIFF and/or JPEG file.
