This report was sent to me by email:

"Last Thursday we started the Blair Creek section at Higway 72 TH and hiked south to owls bend, Powder Mill TH. We finished up Sunday. The weather played tricks on us and we had rain, sleet, snow, and the nights got cold. With the exception of the last three or so miles, the signs were fantasticlly placed. No one should get lost. We also used the OT Guidebook for the first time. The two ladies that composed it should be complimented. No one should go on the OT without this guide. It really adds an extra dimension to the hike. We feel that this section is probably one of, or the most scenic sections of the trails we have hiked. And the first six miles is not bad. Its part of the trail. We had a great hike and a geat time."
